Only animals that are individually trained to perform disability‑related tasks are permitted at NTA events. Emotional support animals, therapy animals, pets, and animals whose sole function is companionship are not allowed.
Service animals must be leashed, harnessed, or tethered unless doing so interferes with the animal’s task; in such cases, effective voice or signal control must be maintained.
Handlers are responsible for:
- Ensuring the animal is under control and well‑behaved (e.g. no excessive barking or wandering)
- Cleaning up after the animal
- Addressing any disruptions immediately
