Update: Flights into Contact ’25
As you begin to book your flights to Contact ’25 on Mackinac Island, or if you’ve already secured a flight into Pellston Regional Airport (PLN), you may have noticed that the early afternoon Sky West DBA Delta Connection inbound flight was recently canceled. Thanks to the efforts of Mackinac Island Tourism, NTA has learned that this flight will be reinstated and should appear in your flight searches in the next two to three weeks. This flight is important because it is the last one of the day into PLN that allows travelers to also catch the ferry to Mackinac Island. The last scheduled ferry for early May is 5:30 p.m., which is not possible to make if you arrive on the 5:16 p.m. flight. We’ll share additional updates as we receive them.
Delta Air Lines, NTA’s official airline partner, will again offer special discounts for Travel Exchange attendees. Make reservations and purchase tickets at Delta.com; details below.
Discount codes work for the following airports: Pellston Regional Airport (PLN), Chippewa County International Airport (CIU), and Traverse City Cherry Capital Airport (TVC).Delta Air Lines is pleased to offer special discounts for NTA.

Airport Shuttles:
Once you arrive at PLN or CIU on May 5, 6, or 7, a shuttle service will meet incoming flights and transport you to the ferry dock. Let them know you are with NTA Contact for a complimentary round-trip shuttle ticket. They will also advise you on your return trip and provide you with a ticket. Sponsored by Mackinac Island Tourism.
If there is enough interest, we will arrange a limited shuttle schedule from the Traverse City airport. Please email Dawn Pettus if you are considering this option. Cost is TBD and is a two hour drive to Mackinac City.
Ferry:
Shepler’s Mackinac Island Ferry is offering discounted ferry tickets from both the Mackinaw City and St. Ignace docks.
