Bidding for Bulldog
NTA Government Relations Online Auction
March 18-29, 2019
NTA’s second annual online auction, affectionately called “Bidding for Bulldog”, will take place March 18-29, 2019. The event is named in honor of Tom Jaffa, a staunch supporter of NTA’s advocacy efforts who earned the nickname “Bulldog” for his tenacity during visits to Capitol Hill. All proceeds go directly to our Government Issues Fund, which allows NTA to advocate for you with policymakers.
How can you help? We’re glad you asked! We need items donated for the auction, and here’s what we’re looking for:
- Vacation packages, tangibles representing your destination or company, sports memorabilia, group tour components, tickets, handcrafted items, artwork, one-of-a-kind experiences, etc.
- Item should have a minimum retail value of $250; bids will begin at 25% of retail value.
- Vacation packages are required to have a minimum of two-nights lodging
A few items may be selected for a live auction at Contact, NTA’s tour operator retreat, in Tucson on March 29. Bidding begins on March 18 at 8 a.m. ET and will close during an auction finale reception on March 29 at 6:15 p.m. local time. To make a donation, please complete the donor form by Feb. 8, 2019.
